Current implementation status
- In the Canadian jurisdictions of Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, the supervising driver in the learner stage is subject to a low BAC requirement (zero BAC).
- In Ontario, the supervising driver is restricted to a blood alcohol level of less than .05 (if this person is 21 and under, their blood alcohol level should be zero).
- In several Australian states, the supervising driver in the learner stage is subject to a low BAC requirement.
